Rebekha and I met over two years ago when she adopted an eight week old, lab mix puppy named Axil and immediately put him in a positive reinforcement training class with me. At that time, Axil had the normal puppy issues; biting, chewing, pulling on a leash; but he also had some fear issues with people and other animals. Rebekha was incredibly dedicated to Axil and to improving his issues. She came to every class 20 mins early to work on behavior and every week that I saw them, it was obvious that they had been working hard because it showed in Axil. He quickly grew to love his fellow dog classmates and their owners and they loved to watch him drastically improve each week. Sadly, in my line of work, most people tend to look for an easy way out when confronted with issues like Axil had, such as a training program in which you send your pet off to a boot camp and the use pinch collars to train. However, Rebekha was adamant about only using positive reinforcement training and they both did fantastic! It's obvious to me that she is a phenomenal pet parent and I have no doubt she would take equally wonderful care of someone else's pet.
