I worked at a dog rescue in 2016. From it, I gained a lot of experience about how to care for and interact with dogs. I learned how to walk dogs on a loose leash, and went through a lot of basic training like "sit," "heel," and "come" with many dogs. I also gained some basic medical knowledge such as how to identify signs of heat stroke. I also learned just how much I enjoy spending time with dogs. I ended up adopting my dog from that rescue too! I used to work at my local Petco, and gained further experience working as a dog trainer at that store. I taught multiple classes to dogs and their pet parents. I taught basic obedience, and helped people to learn more about dog behavior and strengthen their bonds. Being around dogs brings a lot of joy to my life, so I'd love the chance to get to know your pup!
