Details that would be most helpful: physical limitations, feeding schedule, desired amount of exercise, energy level, medications, allergies, any fears (i.e. thunderstorms, fireworks, loud noises, etc.), level of exposure to other dogs , their overall attitude and any behavioral challenges.

First and foremost, I would make sure you, as the dog mom or dad approve of any activities in advance. Fun activities may include: dog park visits, a variety of walking trails, playing outdoors or indoors with toys, swimming, agility course training, and canine enrichment activities. Special places include: Mt. Juliet dog park, Charlie Daniels Park walking trails, Percy Priest dog park, 7-Points and Cedar Creek recreation areas, and Nashville's greenways trails.
