I just spent the past six months living in Alaska, working a seasonal job, and living with 10+ dogs! I learned how much I absolutely loved these pups and all of their special characteristics. I loved helping their owners take care of them and was often the trusted and chosen dog sitter while owners were out traveling around Alaska! This means that I was responsible for walking, feeding, supervising, cleaning, etc. for all kinds of different dogs. I am also quite resourceful and what one might call, "street smart". I have worked as an outdoor guide (what I was doing in Alaska) for a few years now and have learned how to be efficient, self-reliant, and how to have good judgement during stressful situations. This helps me succeed in many areas of my life and career. If I was able to be successful in challenging environments with limited resources, then I know that I can be a valued worker in almost any environment.
