Pet care experience
Until the age of 16, I assisted my father in training a variety of breeds for AKC tests and field trials. With his guidance, I have helped during the labor of a dog, worked on obedience like sit and walking easily on a leash. I have recently began fostering dogs through a rescue in New Bern and have gained tremendous experience with dogs of all ages. I have raised numerous kittens and puppies over the years and am very comfortable with most pets. I have experience feeding reptiles such as snakes and bearded dragons, and grew up with an extensive aquarium as well as a hamster.

Rebekah is awesome!!! Loves my boys like her own. Very sweet and considerate. I had to change the dates up last minute and she was so flexible and understanding. She takes a ton of adorable pictures and gives awesome updates!!! I will definitely be having watch my boys again :)
Rebekah is one of the most thoughtful and caring people. She is always my first choice when I need someone to watch my two dogs. She always makes sure to take time to walk them and let them play if they have had to be in their kennels for a few hours. She cares for my dogs as if they were her own. She is amazing at keeping you updated if you would like her too. She often sends me photos or tells me how my dogs are when she is watching them. You wouldn't be able to find anyone else more suited to care for your furry children.

My home has a very large fenced backyard similar in space to the New River dog park. I am willing to travel to a dog park if it is more comfortable for you. Both of my dogs love other dogs so if your dog needs socialization, there's plenty of it here.

Because I grew up around many breeds and from interactions at the rescue, I don't have a preference on breeds. I'd love to know their name, favorite toys, favorite places to go, and anything you think necessary to share for us to have the best possible time!
A typical day
Your dog and I can go on walks in your neighborhood, on trails, visit dog parks if requested. We will play with a variety of toys and try to exercise both mentally and physically!

Availability
During the week, I am available 24/7. Most weekends I am able to provide care, but not all. I am willing to work with you on times and frequency of visits.
