We really appreciated Rebekah stepping in to help us on short notice when another arrangement fell through last-minute before a holiday. We were unable to schedule a meet and greet due to the short notice, but we came home to two cats who were fed and happy to see us! We left 4 stars instead of 5 because communication was a bit of a challenge. Rebekah preferred text updates rather than Rover cards, which is just fine and is a matter of preference, but it meant that we did not know what time the visits started/stopped and, for the second visit, had to reach out to ask for an update because it was getting late and we hadn’t heard anything yet. It’s entirely possible that communication could’ve been worked out ahead of time if there had been a meet and greet. We just haven’t had to ask for photos or updates from a Rover sitter before & have used the service for years, so it hadn’t occurred to us to specifically request it in advance.

I do NOT recommend if you have cats that need daily food, water, and litter box scooped. I paid for daily drop in visits for Rebekah to feed, water, and scoop the litter boxes each morning. When I arrived home the food bowls were empty, the water bowls were dry, and the litter boxes contained several days of waste. I didn't receive the daily service that my two cats needed and that I paid for. There were also communication issues. When I returned from my trip I contacted Rebekah about my concerns and her reply was "I did the best I could with a busy schedule". First and last time I will use Rover.
