I started dog sitting/house sitting when I was 12, and adopted my own dog when I was 18. My dog is an Australian cattle dog mix, and he just turned 2 (I adopted him when he was 1). I absolutely love animals in general, but dogs are by far my favorite. I find it fun and refreshing to be around them. I am happy to play with the dogs, walk them, or cuddle with them. I’m great with puppies, too, since I’ve have a fair amount of practice working with them and raising them. Of the five dogs I care for regularly, the oldest is a 10 year old pug, and the youngest is a 5 month old Irish terrier mix, so I’m pretty used to working with the different breeds and ages of dogs.
