Pet care experience
Looking for a dog lover to care for your dog(s)? Going out of town? Visiting Luray and need someone to watch your dog for a few hours? We have a great space and understand dogs. My love for animals started at a young age. I would go around trying to "train" other people's dogs. I've had everything from Guinea Pigs to Chickens and a few wonderful dogs. I've taken Obedience and Nosework classes with my Treeing Walker Coonhound and we frequently go hiking together in the Shenandoah Valley. I enjoy spending time with dogs and cats while feeding, exercising, and playing with them. I've learned to keep my dog mentally entertained to ensure a tired, happy dog at the end of the day. Your dog will enjoy our time together and be tired after our time spent together.

Rebekah provided plenty of updates throughout the day to let me know my dog was well taken care for and throughly entertained. He slept most of the next day so he definitely stayed busy! Would absolutely recommend.
Rebekah was wonderful with our older dog and puppy. Both seemed to be relaxed and enjoy their time with her. Rebekah sent lots of pics throughout the visit. I'll definitely book again.
Rebekah was great! We went to the caverns today and dropped Zuko off. She was very friendly when we met her, she communicated very well, took some pictures, and Zuko seemed like he had a good time based on the pictures I saw! She even only charged us for .5 of a day because we were only planning to be gone for about 2 hours. If we ever come back to Luray and need someone to watch our dog we would definitely consider reaching out to her again!

At home, I have a beautiful .75 acre, fenced in yard. Lots of walking places and space for dogs to explore in a safe environment. All dogs are welcome into our home, we also have indoor/outdoor cats. I do keep dogs separated in our spaces to keep everyone safe, calm, and comfortable. We have very laid-back days and our dogs enjoy napping on their beds, going for early or late evening walks.

A typical day
A typical day involves multiple explorations around the yard. I do love exploring neighborhoods, walking the greenway, or hiking around local trails. I always carry fun rewarding treats and know some fun brain games. Animals are my peacekeepers, and I absolutely love spending my time with all animals. They remind me to slow down in life and take the day slowly and joyfully.
