MY EXPERIENCE WITH DOG CARE ———————————————— In terms of working with dogs, I have pet-sat for friends, family, and Rover clients over the years, with stays lasting up to two weeks. I treat each and every dog I look after as if they were my own - lots of love, attention, and care! Additionally, I have 13 years of combined volunteering experience across my hometown, my college town, and New York City: 1) The Richmond, VA SPCA where I cleaned after animals and aided in adoption fairs at the shelter by talking to potential foster parents. 2) The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society in Lewiston, Maine, where I would take dogs on walks, give them yard playtime, clean cages, administer medicine, and help socialize them with other dogs in the shelter. 3) Muddy Paws Rescue in Union Square, NYC , where I cleaned up after the pups, administered medicine, talk to potential adoption parents, and wrote social media posts, helping dogs find their fur-ever homes! I've always lived in home with dogs (having grown up with two basset hounds, a miniature schnauzer, and an elderly jack russell) throughout my life. I'm so excited to share my years of experience and enthusiasm with your special furry friend! ABOUT ME ——————- A little about myself outside of working with pups, I'm a producer for a video game studio in the Denver area. Formerly a comedy writer for BarkBox, I love spreading laughter and fun (especially when it relates to pups)

Rebeccah watched my two hounds for two nights and was great! Perfect level of communication. Most importantly, the dog dudes were both super chill when I got home. Rebeccah even returned to my house to walk them the evening I arrived home. Above and beyond! Highly recommend.
We booked Rebeccah twice to watch Stella, she was fabulous! I joke that we have the most overqualified dog sitter, but it was such a relief to find someone we like & trust & is so great with the pup (especially for in-home dog sitting). Can’t recommend her enough.
Rebeccah is reliable, incredibly good with animals, can walk a very strong, slightly ADHD dog with no trouble, can come to the rescue when there’s an unforeseen emergency... basically will leap tall buildings in a single bound. We will use her as often as we can, and hold her in very high regard.
Rebeccah is a great sitter! Yofi had a blast and we knew she was very well taken care of! We will definitely be rebooking with Rebeccah!

DAYCARE ————— If you’re bringing your pup over for daycare, they will get spend the day in our home with the resident pup, Toffee, and myself for the full workday (as I’m a 100% remote worker). We have lots of cozy couch space and beds around for napping, toys for playtime, and walking trails and dog parks a short drive away. Every dog is different, so I would love to know your dog’s energy level and needs to determine what they need out of a day at daycare. OVERNIGHT STAYS IN YOUR HOME ———————————————— If I will be coming to your home to watch your pup, we’ll need to do a meet and greet first to ensure that both you and your dog feel comfortable having me in your home. I’ll want to know any likes, dislikes, behaviors to be aware of, and ways to best your pup feel the most at home under my care. During my stay, I love to provide pictures of your pup living their best life! I will be home 100% of the stay time unless explicitly discussed with you (I.e. if your pup has separation anxiety). OVERNIGHT STAYS IN MY HOME ——————————————— If you’re boarding your pup with me, all of the above information remains the same! The only addition is that we’ll have extra guests for our meet and greet: Toffee, my adorable greyhound, and my boyfriend/ co-dog parent to Toffee. As you’re leaving your pup in a new place with new people, it is vital that I make sure your pup feels safe and comfortable for the duration of their stay with us. Your pup can expect all of the same wonderful care that we give our girl Toffee: walks, cuddling on the couch, treats, adventures to the dog park, and everything in between!

I have lived with a Basset and Miniature Schnauzer for 10+ years, so I'm particularly knowledgeable about those breeds. I love each and every dog I met, however, and I have no preferences as to who I sit! Some things that I would like to know about your pup before I look after them: - Any behavioral issues (separation anxiety, territorial aggrssion, food/toy aggression, their attitude towards other dogs/cats, etc.). - Their likes, dislikes, and anything that helps them feel comfortable while you are away. - Any medications needed (if applicable) or allergies to be aware of.
A typical day
If your pup loves going on runs or just going to play in the dog park, then we'll have a blast! I love taking my pup, Toffee, for rides and walks on trails in the area.

Availability
I am 100% remote and work from home full time during the work week. If your pup needs a buddy during the day, they’ll get mid day walks and play time with me and my resident pup, Toffee, a greyhound who has never met a person, pup, or couch that she didn’t like.
