Walking the extra mile for your pet
Pet care experience
With a lifelong love for animals, I have extensive experience in pet care. Having grown up with two dogs and cared for them in their old age, I understand the needs of aging pets. Animals are naturally drawn to me, forming an instant bond. In addition, upon request, I am even willing to provide sound healing sessions for the animals, promoting relaxation and well-being. Trustworthy, compassionate, and attuned to the unique needs of each pet, I am committed to ensuring their happiness and overall health.
Reviews
I can't recommend Rebecca more! She stayed in my home with my cat and 3yo shepherd mix while I was away for work. She sent regular updates, responded quickly to my messages, left the house clean and tidy, and (most importantly) I came home to relaxed, well-cared for critters! Rebecca was extremely flexible and supportive when I had to delay my trip due to COVID. And she took great care of my high energy pup.
Rebecca takes great care of my Frenchie he always enjoys his walks with her. She is very dependable and professional. A true animal lover too
Rebecca was the answer to my prayers for someone for my two dogs. She even sent cute photo check ins of my boys that made my day! They love her too, and I know they’re always in great hands with her! I couldn’t recommend anyone more.

Information Rebecca W. would like to know about your pet
When preparing to care for your pet, here are some of the things I like to know to ensure the best care: Medical history: I like to know if your pet is on any medications that I need to administer and if there are any protocols I need to take when administering. I have experience with both oral and injectable medications. I also like to know if your pet has had any adverse reactions to any of their medications and what I need to look out for. If I will be feeding your pet, I need to know its feeding schedule and any dietary restrictions or allergies. It's also important to know your pet's exercise needs, energy levels, and preferred activities so I can plan the appropriate physical activity and prevent boredom, behavioral issues, or injuries. I need to know how your pet interacts with other animals or if they have any behavioral triggers or challenges. This will help me create a comfortable and safe environment for your pet. If your pet has a routine that you adhere to, please let me know– including their sleeping habits, bathroom times, and/or any other routine you feel is important. Lastly, I require the contact information of your vet in case any emergencies arise. I will contact the owner before taking your pet to the vet. But if I am unable to reach the owner in a timely manner, I will use my discretion.
A typical day
When I have the opportunity to care for dogs, I enjoy engaging them in various fun activities to keep them entertained and happy. One unique activity I can incorporate is sound healing. Sound healing involves using soothing and calming sounds to promote relaxation and well-being in both humans and animals. During our time together, if requested, I create a serene environment by playing gentle music or using sound therapy tools such as singing bowls, chimes, or calming nature sounds. Dogs are known to have a heightened sensitivity to sound, and certain frequencies and vibrations can have a calming effect on them. This can be particularly beneficial for dogs who may experience anxiety or stress. As for special places to go on walks, I may seek out nature trails that offer a peaceful and serene ambiance. Being in nature can be therapeutic for both humans and dogs, providing an opportunity to connect with the natural environment and enjoy the sights, sounds, and scents. Walking in green spaces or near bodies of water can have a soothing effect on dogs, promoting relaxation and a sense of well-being.
