Pet care experience
I have had dogs in my life, all my life! From a very early age I have been taking care of animals, and since 2014 I have been professionally dog sitting for all shapes, sizes, and needs. Whether you have a rambunctious puppy that needs a sitter experienced in training, or an elder that needs assistance in a help-me-harness, there is no pup I won't provide the absolute best care for. Walks, play time, potty clean up, transport to daycare and grooming services, if your dog or dog(s) need a dedicated, caring sitter, I am the one to call! I can also provide several references to current dog sitting/care clients of mine if you are interested in hearing more about my experience in pet care.

I have 2 elderly dogs and a rabbit. Rebecca has taken care if them several times without being intimidated by the dogs' age, their medication routine, or the rabbits separate and very different needs. When I come home after leaving them in her care for several days they are happy, healthy, and Rebecca let's me if they need anything while I'm away. She also gives me a general run down if something seemed off about the animals at the end of her visit. These updates are precious to me considering their age. I trust Rebecca with my beloved animal family and home. I encourage you to do the same. I feel like some of my descriptors may come off as over the top, but I've had several animal watchers and Rebecca is by far the one I respect the most.

I care for your pets exactly as you would care for them yourself. I currently walk my dogs three times a day weather and temperature permitting, I touch test the pavement, and when we aren't able to walk together I exercise their brain with positive reinforcement training and allowing them to demonstrate their skills for happiness, pats and scritches. This keeps their brain engaged and entertained without all the calories (I keep treats to minimum, or your treat allotment). If your pet has special needs, I keep a calming environment where your pet feels at home and at peace.

We want to make sure that I am aware of your dogs meal time routine, their potty routine, any medications or special needs, their local vet and emergency care plan. We never anticipate anything happening to your furbaby, but I want to make sure I'm prepared for anything!
A typical day
I love spending time with pets and keeping their mind engaged! We will walk together, snuggle, go over learned skills, work on new tricks, and play their favorite games and toys.

Availability
I work full time remotely, so I will bring my computer with me, I just need a power outlet, a place to set up, and a wifi connection. I am able to care for your pets and be present through my entire workday.
