Pet care experience
I started petsitting and housesitting when I was around twelve years old and have been doing it ever since. I owned a golden retriever myself when I was younger, but have cared for Yorkshire Terriers, Great Danes, and everything in between. I have dealt with special needs dogs as well; I am equipped to deal with allergies, arthritis, sensory disorders, infections, injuries, and anything that has put your pup in the “cone of shame.” I have even performed CPR on a dog once before. Anything else, I am more than willing to learn. I understand that every dog is different, so I want to make him/her as comfortable as possible while he/she must be apart from you. Just let me know how to make that possible. :) Care for cats, fish, and other critters available also!
Reviews
Rebecca took great care of Enya during her stay and gave some extra attention to the cats. Appreciate everything she does and very comfortable with her watching the house and animals again in the future
What Rebecca was hired for was house-sitting not drop-in visits as she made the job into. 1st I had my neighbors calling me worrying about my dogs being by themself and the sitter was not there. This sitter was to house sit but what she did was only drop-in visits thinking no one would find out or that she would get caught. She Left our dogs alone 2 separate days with no one at the house for 12 hours no potty breaks or food. My dogs are on a schedule and she knew that but, only cared about herself and social life. Plus for seven whole days she left my 65in TV on all day long all night long just to the show that someone might be home and never armed my alarm on my house. What kills me is that my neighbor that has a key to my house it was way after 10 a.m. I asked her to go take out my dogs and feed my dog because Rebecca was nowhere to be found. It was crazy that Rebecca said that she got bit by a dog and she had some family emergencies on the last day of sitting. This is the reason she gave for leaving my dogs alone all night when the house could have burnt down I told her why didn't you call me? I would have got my neighbor the house at my dogs she never gave me an answer.Nothing but poor excuses for doing a terrible job!
I'm not sure I want to let everyone know what a great sitter Rebecca was for us! She stayed at our house and kept our two large Pittbulls during the Thanksgiving holidays. The dogs loved her and didn't even care that we were gone. Rebecca sent us pictures and updates daily about how they were doing, their adventures and even eating (which they do a lot!) It was nice to have someone that could hang around at the house since one of our dogs has such bad separation anxiety. I was able to go out of town and not stress about my furry family members. Rebecca is outgoing, friendly and reliable and I will be using her again for future bookings.
I am late in writing my review for Rebecca, but I think subconsciously it is because I don't want everyone to know how great she is so we can keep her all to ourselves! We are new to the area and were panicked trying to find someone to watch our mini goldendoodle puppy during our last week long trip. I was in tears over it on more than one occasion, unsure of how we were going to find someone trustworthy in a new city. When Rebecca came over for a meet and greet, we instantly knew she was the perfect fit. She staid

Safety, trust & environment
I can crate your dogs if crate is provided, but my home is puppy-proofed so that they can safely wander around inside as well, supervised or unsupervised. I understand that everyone trains their dogs differently and I am fond of continuing that style of obedience during my care.

Information Rebecca V. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences. I like to know activity level and feeding times before petsitting, this is to optimize scheduling. Also, let me know if you have other pets or plants that need to be tended to.
A typical day
I love walking dogs around their neighborhoods or local parks or to visit their doggy friends. Games of tug-o-war and playing fetch are favorites, but any and all games are welcome!
