Pet care experience
I've kept an array of animals all my life and have experience not only with dogs and cats, but small animals, fish, and reptiles. These are some of the many species I have personally kept. I have a tremendous passion for caring for animals, even those with special needs. For example, I have experience with giving SQ fluids to elderly animals. I worked at a local PetSmart Pet Hotel and have gained on-the-job experience by doing so. I have learned to recognize key behaviors in the animals I've worked with to prevent potential fights. I also work currently as a kennel/ vet assistant at a local clinic and take care of many animals at one time. I am more than willing to follow the owner's guidelines on the specific care for their animal and have a strong desire to care for any animal. If I am not familiar with the breed, I am more than willing to invest my time to learn.
