October 4, 2022 To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to express my support for Rebecca Schupp and my appreciation for the skills, compassion, and thoughtfulness she brings to her volunteer role at Muttville. Rebecca’s duties include assisting Pack Leaders, basic cleaning of the facility, feeding, and oftentimes medicating. While her responsibilities do not require it, Rebecca regularly begins her shift by walking the house-trained dogs — in other words, those that most urgently needed to get out. (If not for her, these dogs would have to wait several hours for afternoon volunteers to arrive and provide bathroom breaks.) Rebecca also provides insight and knowledge to potential adopters about the dogs she has come to know well. Additionally, she helps guide and train volunteers in dog walking and handling activities and often facilitates meet-and-greets between potential adopters’ dogs. We here at Muttville know and appreciate the level of competence Rebecca demonstrates. She performs her duties diligently and responsibly and does so with a congenial attitude. We believe she is a dedicated and high-performing volunteer. We encourage Rover to consider Rebecca for employment. We are certain you will not be disappointed. Becci watches my dog regularly and is a wonderful dog person. She loves to take the dogs on walks and to the park. She is very caring and responsible. I am trusting her with my senior dog and have no hesitation to recommend her as a walker or sitter whatsoever.
