Hi, I am Rebecca and I have cared for animals my whole life! I have grown up with golden retrievers and cats and I love them more than most people! I have been sitting dogs and cats on and off for the last 6 years for friends, family, and amazing rover clients. My Rover profile has been inactive for a few years but I am coming back because I miss caring for dogs! I previously worked a part time job at a dog grooming salon where I have learned to work with all breeds and personalities of dogs. I regularly sat for an elderly diabetic cat over the course of 2 years that needed insulin shots daily, so I am comfortable giving medication and shots to calm pets when necessary. I am also very comfortable caring for senior dogs. My elderly dogs back home with my parents recently passed away and over the last few years I learned and became comfortable with everything needed for taking great care of them!

Rebecca was great with our dog! She came over to meet her beforehand and asked great questions to understand Bella's routine. She let me know when she got to the house and when she was leaving, as well as sending pictures of Bella to let us know she was ok. We would definitely use her in the future.
Rebecca arrived promptly and was very sweet. Both dogs took to her very easily, and everything went smoothly. She came to spend a few hours with one dog while I took the other to training because he becomes very anxious when he's left completely alone. Rebecca said he did well; no howling or digging or scratching at the doors, so it's a win! Thank you, Rebecca -- you being at the house relieved my mind and let me focus on training the puppy.
Rebecca was amazing! This was my first time using rover and I was nervous about leaving my pups. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable leaving them. We did a meet and greet and I could tell she was a dog person right away. She kept me updated while we were gone with pictures which I loved as well. I will definitely be reaching out to her again when we need a sitter. Highly recommend!!
Rebecca has been a dear friend of my the past year and has always had positive interactions with my dogs. I have a rambunctious 3 year old Husky and a laid back 12 year old blue heeler and both adore her. She’s also a very responsible person and I feel comfortable having her around my dogs.

To keep your fur baby safe I always make sure to keep the whole apartment clean so that they do not get into anything that could be harmful. If your dog is used to being crated at night I can gladly set up space for your crate while the dog is here. I have a patio which is lovely for getting some sun, I do not have a fenced yard but there is a grassy area right outside my door. Unless I know your dog they will be leashed when I take them outside to ensure nothing spooks them into running away.

Before taking care of your dog I would like to know all about their energy level/ age/ diet information/ important personality trains/ breed. I also will need to know how often your dog needs to be let outside. If your dog has ever experiences separation anxiety while you have been gone in the past I would like to know that as well!
A typical day
A typical day for your pup with me will include a short early morning walk after breakfast, lots of snuggles and bathroom breaks throughout the day, and depending on the dogs energy level either another short walk or a longer walk in the afternoon. If your dog likes to play fetch, I have the perfect spot just a couple of blocks from my apartment!

I always make sure to do breakfast and a walk before I head to work, potty breaks when I come home for lunch, and an afternoon/evening walk right when I get home and of course providing additional potty breaks and walks to burn energy as needed for your pup!
