Peace of mind while you're away!

Pet care experience

Hello! I'm a lifelong animal lover and dog mom who has always taken care of animals in addition to my own. Any dog that stays with me becomes a member of my home. My goal is to develop a long relationship with you and your dog so that every time you want to go out of town, you know you have a trusted place for your dog to stay and have fun!

So happy to have found Rebecca to take care of our dog, Reggie. She sends wonderful daily updates of him playing in her backyard, and we’re very comfortable leaving him with her for an extended period of time. Looking forward to having her take care of Reggie in the future .

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog's happiness and safety are the most important thing to me—I will tailor their stay according to their needs and what you feel comfortable with. I want you to feel confident when you leave town so that you can enjoy your time away! My house is safe and comfortable for dogs of any age or size: • No stairs other than one step into the securely-fenced yard • Large outdoor space with a covered patio so your dog can run around or lounge in the shade • I’m usually at home all day for frequent potty needs • Quiet and calm house with plenty of snoozing zones • Onsite BFF aka my dog Max who loves new friends but also gets the message if older dogs just want to do their own thing :) Weather safety: I am very careful about regulating time outdoors in extreme temperatures and weather conditions. • Summer: Generally over 90 degrees in the summer is when I change our walking schedule—this might mean cutting walks short or shifting them to very early or late in the day or in unusual cases, skipping them in favor of safety. • Winter: I'm originally from Minnesota so below freezing temps don't scare me too much. But if there is ice or conditions are too cold for paws with no booties, I'll adjust accordingly. No matter what the weather, I will always use my best judgement that puts health and safety for your pet (and mine!) first.

Availability

This is a dog-centric house, where your dog will fit in easily! • Weekdays: I work from home full time so I am around to let anybody who's gotta go out into the fenced-in backyard whatever their needs are. Your dog can join us on our daily walks and playtime in the large backyard. • Weekends: I'd love to have your dog hang out with us on weekends while I work in the garden, relax on the patio, snuggle up next to the fire, or play in the park. Although I aim to spend as much time with your dog as possible, there are of course times I'll need to leave for short periods of time. I find it best to leave our dog guests in their crate for these instances. Pick up and drop off times are: 6am – 6pm
