Loving dogs more than people

Pet care experience

I've always had a dog in my life since I was growing up to now. I currently have two rescue dogs, and I volunteer for a local rescue organization where I interact with dogs almost every weekend. I love dogs and have a lot of experience with all different breeds and behaviors.

Rebecca was great with my 4month old puppy! She gave me some advice and tips which was super helpful! She communicated well, got back to me quickly and was flexible with my changing schedule. I will definitely reach out to her in the future!

Safety, trust & environment

I used to live in Philadelphia with no yard space, so I took my dogs out 5 times a day, two of those either being trips to the dog park or longer walks. Now that I live in South Jersey I have a backyard, so I let the dogs out in our fenced yard to run around and play and go to the bathroom. I also feed my dogs twice a day and make sure they are bathed once a month.

Information Rebecca S. would like to know about your pet

Any behavioral qualms or character traits that I should know about when interacting with the dog. If there's anything the dog likes, dislikes, is triggered by, etc. I would also like to know whether the dog is high or low energy, what the dog likes to do for fun and the best way that the owners have found to make sure the dog is staying appropriately active depending on their energy level, age and/or medical conditions.

A typical day

It depends on the dog! For medium to high energy dogs I would make sure the dog has a nice long walk and/or some time in an open space to play and run around and get all of that energy out. For lower energy dogs, I would make sure they are walked and that they have plenty of time to relax and decompress, and of course cuddle if they're into it!
