Some notes: we must meet in advance before confirming any booking. I want to meet you and your pet in-person so that all parties involved feel comfortable! I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I can't imagine life without furry creatures -- I grew up constantly surrounded by a wide assortment of pets, from dogs to rodents to aquatic animals! (Ask me about the time I rescued a pregnant Guinea pig…) I also work in a neuroscience laboratory where we work with rats, including husbandry and breeding, so I am incredibly comfortable with animal care of any sort. I also have my own 2 cats at home who I love very much! I love taking care of any and all pets, and have been doing so for the past 10 years in various capacities. I have mostly cared for pets owned by friends and family, but I would like to expand my network while in grad school. I especially miss having a dog of my own, so I would absolutely love to shower your dog with walks, cuddles, care, and affection. Of course I love cats too and will happily watch over yours, but you can't really take them on walks :P Happy to do basic care such as walking and feeding, especially if you live on Commonwealth Avenue (as I work from home a lot and it is easy for me to get around on the T). I will prioritize requests that I can get to easily via walking or public transportation. Please also note that I would appreciate being compensated for travel if it involves public transportation ($3/ride) to your home. I can also administer medications (oral, topical, subq) and provide basic grooming such as nail care and bathing if necessary.
