Pet care experience
Recently graduated so moved back to Wickford, looking for furry companions to spend time with. I’ve lived with dogs for half of my life and being away from home realised how much I missed the company of a dog. I’ve cared for varied breeds of dogs such as small chihuahuas and westies to border collies and labradors, I love energetic dogs and ones who love to play but also am happy to sit down and just chill with those who are old or aren’t as high pace. I have a small outdoor space to take the dogs for toilet breaks alternatively a park is not too far by and I’m more than happy to take long walks on the Hoe. I don’t mind walking in bad weather and will happily shower a dog off if they get muddy. I accommodate for all kinds of dogs and am very efficient at keeping time for those who may need special treatments like pills (instructions required obviously). I am very calm, patient and level headed, and am not one to shout at a dog for bad behaviour, my approach is much calmer and collected, if they need time to themselves I have a room they can sit in to calm down.

this was the 2nd time using Rebecca and Leo really loves it there. I will continue to use her as the love and care she and her family give Leo makes us feel like he really well looked after.
I would definitely recommend Rebbeca. My dog has been with her for the weekend and has been very well looked after. Rebbeca gave me regular updates and sent pictures of her at home and on their walks throughout the day. Rebecca’s family are also very kind and they all gave my dog a lot of affection xxx
I would like to thank Rebecca and her family for the wonderful care and love Sofie received during her 3 day stay. I would highly recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for a dog sitter. I was kept updated with text messages, photos and videos of Sofie during her stay. I shall definitely be calling on Rebecca’s services again if I need someone to look after my dog.
Amazing stay! My dog had so much fun and great communication from Rebecca in terms of sending updates and videos of Rio, really put my mind at ease. Mac is also a sweetheart and my dog got on with him so well, will definitely use again!!

Information Rebecca S. would like to know about your pet
I don’t have any breed preferences, although I do have a Westie at home. If the dogs are very strong, aggressive or larger than 5ft4 when stood on hind legs, I will need to know in advance as I may need someone with me when walking, this may come at a small fee. It would be appreciated greatly if I were supplied with a list of requirements on paper, including any medical specifics, timetable for walks or activities, if the dog needs to be picked up to go up/downstairs, if they’re allowed on furniture etc.
A typical day
I can go on walks around the Wickford area but also sometimes go to Galleywood Common or Hanningfield for a change of scenery. Please tell me in advance if the dog is allowed off lead otherwise I will assume not. I don’t have any dog toys in my home currently, I feel it would be best to bring toys from home so they have a familiar smell and won’t be used by other dogs. Am more than happy for dogs to sit on the furniture with me and take naps as days can be pretty exhausting. I have experience with training dogs to follow commands and will happily teach them a trick or two if you’d like!
