Pet care experience
I have experience with dogs with special needs and mild behavioral issues. I have a long history of volunteering at animal shelters, as well as having my own rescues, so I have a soft spot for animals that deserve a little extra love and attention. From volunteering with shelter dogs, I know that each animal has their own personality, and might need extra care. I love earning the trust of dogs that are shy or scared of me at first. I don't mind just sitting next to them and letting them get used to me. In the past, I have bonded with animals that were victims of abuse and/or neglect, so I am used to the boundaries that can come with those cases. I look forward to meeting your companion!

Rebecca is a lifesaver! We are so grateful we found someone who can handle our dog friends while we are away. She is super consistent, reliable, and 100% easy to communicate with. She has gracefully cared for our aging dogs even as they become more special needs (I'm talking about meds, special meals, and even dog diapers, folks!) She is the most helpful person in the world. I think our dogs have stayed with her more times than I can count. Rebecca is awesome. The end.

Rebecca was a wonderful sitter for our cat Gracie. She made an effort to make sure that we got to know her during the meet and greet and was very attentive to our care instructions. Will definitely be booking her again!
Rebecca took great care of our dogs for 6 days. It was our first trip away from our skittish recent rescue and we were concerned he might regress during our absence -- not so! We came home to happy dogs who acted like we'd been gone a few hours instead of almost a week.
