Pet care experience
I’m Rebecca and I’m a true dog lover. Sadly, I lost my dog to old age earlier this year and though my home and yard are perfect for dogs, I’m not quite ready to start over with another pup. I would still love to spend my time with animals and share my home and care, so I’d be lucky to host your furry friends! I miss having dogs scurrying afoot, ready to share a snuggle or laugh. I have had dogs most of my life and have experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I also have cared for dogs with diabetes, severe storm anxiety, separation anxiety, hip dysplasia, and restricted diets. I would be happy to provide care for any pup with an issue that needs a little more time and attention. Over the past 20 years, I have been the go-to sitter for friends and family. I love all breeds of pups but have had the most experience with Labradors, Dalmatians, Mixed Breeds, Pugs and Collies! As a pet sitter, I am very good at easing pet and owner anxieties by understanding that new experiences can be scary. I have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages and health conditions and I know that the best response from me is a patient and loving one. You can also rest assured that your pup is safe and healthy, as I’ll send you daily text and photo updates so you know your pup is in good care. I live the wonderful Lincoya Heights neighborhood. It was built during the 1950’s and is zoned so that every property has at least one half acre of land! My home has lots of space for your pup to run around and my yard is ¾ of an acre with a fenced in area for your dog to sunbathe or play in! I live with a close friend who has years of experience in dog care and loves them as much as I do. Though I will provide primary care, he will be around to let your pup out to the bathroom or for snuggles. When I’m not spending time with Rover pups, I enjoy going on walks through my beautiful neighborhood and love spending time in my yard. I also love to cook and have friends over to watch a game or celebrate a holiday. I’m definitely a home body (except when it comes to seeing my Godsons and going to art shows) and love to cuddle up with a good book. Your dog is a welcome addition to my daily life!

Rebecca took excellent care of Wayne. It was easy to schedule a meet-and-greet as well as the drop-off and pick-up. Rebecca made sure to send plenty of updates and cute pictures of Wayne, so I knew he was happy and doing well. Her house is cozy, and Wayne found a favorite spot in a chair with a nice view of the huge fenced-in yard. I highly recommend Rebecca and will definitely be leaving Wayne in her care again.
Rebecca was so great with Lacy! I felt so comfortable leavign Lacy in her care! She sent me daily updates with pictures and even offered to keep her an extra night when our flight got delayed! She’s the best!
Rebecca was an amazing host for Casper! She has an amazing backyard that my pup liked to play in all day, and has a very pet friendly home. Rebecca sent daily pictures and updates as well, which made my trip even easier knowing my puppy was having a great time!
I have known Rebecca for years and have trusted her with several of my furry babies. Every single one of my dogs has loved and loves being at her house. In fact, they barely even notice when we are leaving because they are so excited to be at Rebecca's! She has a large fenced in yard that is secure and large enough for my big dogs to run and play in. We can also trust Rebecca with any type of medical issue that our pups may have. She has treated and managed many different issues including seizures, daily medication (even the ones that can be tricky to medicate), and storm anxiety. Rebecca allows us to enjoy our time away knowing that our pups are safe, happy, and well taken care of.

A typical day
On a stay with me, your pup would be happy and safe. I love taking walks around my wonderful neighborhood and on our city’s beautiful greenways. I enjoy spending time in my yard and around my house and I’d be happy to have your pup accompany while I work. I work during the day so we’d start our morning together with a walk and play time! I would always come home during lunch to check on your pup and let them play in my big backyard. I can’t wait to reunite with your dog at the end of the day with another walk and set of play time! Then, we’ll settle down and share snuggles while we watch TV.
