Pet care experience
I have either owned or been around dogs/cats since 8 yrs old, mostly dogs. I have trained my own animals simple commands (“sit, stay, paw, speak”) and I subscribe to a service that keeps me learning new tricks and tips for dogs and cats. I frequently take care of others’ animals while they are away. A friend recommended this to me, since I’ve done it for years. I also thoroughly enjoy the company of animals.

I just can’t say enough good things about Rebecca Peterson. She has a way with dogs. My two Great Danes loved her at first meeting. She’s very responsible as far as giving medicine, yet playful with the dogs. She cuddled with them when they wanted to. House sitting for us was great. We trust her completely. She’s a keeper.
Rebecca was great with my nervous pup! She wore her out each day and kept me informed of everything going on with her! Highly recommend her!

I am able to walk, let animals out, play with, train, and crate (if needed,) I do not mind loading your dog into my car for a quick road trip, too! If they like that, anyway! I am experienced with different breeds, multiple dog households, and pet safety.

I would need to know behaviors, how well they typically get along with other animals (in case we go to a dog park or something,) and of course any medications.
A typical day
Lots of outdoors walking and/or playing. Down time, rest, and naps provided, if needed. Also, If you request, I can train your dog for simple commands.

Availability
I am an RN that picks up shifts, per diem. Due to my specialties, (Critical and Emergency Care,) I enjoy the company of non-humans, and a less hectic environment to keep me energized and in a good frame of mind to continue nursing. Animals do just that! How could they not?
