Pet care experience
Aloha! I’ve taken care of chihuahuas to pit bulls and everything in between, as well as new litter of kittens and their mother and doggy friends at the same time. Friends, neighbors and friends I haven’t met yet have all hired me based on my quick and sure ability to connect with their animal(s) and give them the care their owners would give them, while they are away. I love animals and have owned both dogs and cats so caring for animals like they are my own come naturally. I am also very good with medicinally needs, being able to help animals take medicine, go in crates, coordinate for plane trips, and more, beyond the potty and walks usually asked for, including animals with special needs! It is a pleasure and passion of mine to love and be of service to my community.

My husband and I have used Rebecca many times over the past seven years to watch our three dogs (and even our son on occasion) when we went out of town. She is incredibly communicative and responsible. One of our dogs is deaf and another requires daily medicine. She was always quick to respond to a text or email. Our dogs were always happy, healthy, and calm when we returned. Rebecca has a loving and peaceful energy that dogs and humans, alike, pick up on. Any animal who gets to spend time with her will be a very lucky one.

I live in a quiet street with a fenced in yard and large house with ample room for dogs and cats. There is both a downstairs and an upstairs, so if the animal has issues with going upstairs, no need. The house has good ventilation and a large front and side yard with grass and trees, providing an inviting mix of both sunny and shady areas. I have one other roommate who is Kapuna and has two cats of his own. We are both quiet individuals who seek to live in peace and harmony.

Availability
Waking up early for me is something I’ve always done naturally, as well as caring for others, animals included. I am a naturally energetic person who is always alert and attentive to the needs of myself and the animals, and can easily tune into what they are trying to communicate with their barks, whimpers, pleading eyes, and pawing. I provide a structured calm environment consisting of routine so as the animal can quickly become comfortable as well as consistent loving attention and tune into their needs. I enjoy communicating with the owners to understand their pet(s) better and learn beat how to care for the animal. The more I am told the better I can meet your animal care needs!
