Hello! My name is Rebecca Monnier and I am a full-time professional petsitter and the owner of Furst Choice Petcare, LLC. I am 28 years old, with more than 5 years experience in the petsitting industry. I've provided in-home care to animals, including feeding, litter box cleanup, daytime walks, and overnight stays. I offer FREE initial consultations, where I will meet you and your pet(s) and become acquainted with their routines and your pet care expectations. About my home: My husband and I live on a private lane 5 minutes away from the NCR. We have 2 acres of very gently sloped land. We are both dog lovers and we would love to host your dog! My husband works from home and I am home about 70% of the time weekdays, and 95% of the time on weekends, so your pup will constantly be cared for in a loving and safe environment. With owner permission and weather permitting, your dog will get daily walks on the beautiful NCR. You must provide all food and treats that your dog eats-we do not give the dogs any table food (unless you do, in which case you can bring the table food and we will give it to them according to your directions) The same applies to toys. You can also bring your dogs bed, although we have a bed that is washed in between different dogs. We have a crate if you use a crate at your own home. We will follow any rules you have at your own home in order to minimize any disruption in the dogs routine. You and your dog will love me because I truly love animals. To see a dog smile because of something I have done brings me so much happiness. When I care for your dog, my goal is that they are happy, joyful, and peaceful. I want to care for them just like you do, and strive to take care of them the way you do. When your dog stays with me, they won't be the only ones getting exceptional care--you will be too! I keep an open line of communication between myself and my clients in order to ensure a positive and trustworthy relationship. I'm happy to send tons of photos and updates with what we've done during the day. Your dog's safety is my number one priority--and your home's is too! Whether you have a high-energy pet, more of a couch potato pet, or something in between, I will provide loving, professional petcare services for your animal(s). I have extensive experience working with large animal-reactive dogs. I grew up with 2 highly reactive dogs and attended behavior management classes with them to help them overcome their fears. I've worked with small, large, and in-between breeds and I'm a big fan of rescue dogs. I recently started volunteering at Baltimore County Animal Services shelter in Baldwin-I mostly work with the dogs, providing walks, playtime, and socialization. I am looking to supplement my family's income so my schedule is very open. I am able to do scheduled visits as well as last-minute visits as we all know life is full of unplanned surprises.
