Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around all kinds of pets my entire life. As a child I helped raise kittens and desert tortoises. At 12 I started helping my sister with dogsitting jobs, and by 14 I was doing them on my own around my hometown. I also volunteered at the humane society for 5 years. Today, I’m a junior at The U studying political science and im on track to go to law school. At home I have 3 dogs, 4 cats, and a bunny, but I’m and out of state student, so I’m dying to bond with any animal while I’m here! I become best friends with any animal; your pet will love me and I will love them (and probably grow a bit attached to them). **my rates are negotiable and flexible. Rebecca was great! She sent us daily updates and pictures and left our house cleaner than we left it. We'll definitely have her hand out with our dogs again.
Becca was awesome. Otis bonded with her quickly. He even let her groom him with no issues and he usually hates being groomed. I loved that Becca sent updates and photos. She was very respectful of our house and it was clean when we came home. It's very clear that she loves cats. I will definitely use her again.
Rebecca was fantastic with our two husky mutts. Our dogs can be difficult to handle and slow to warm up, but they warmed up to Rebecca immediately. Rebecca took them for multiple walks each day, sent us great photos, and tolerated the billions of instructions I left behind because I'm a crazy dog mom. We came home to happy dogs and a clean house. We will definitely have Rebecca watch our dogs again.

I only will petsit in a clients home, since I live in a college house with roommates. When I am in your home I am able to feed your pets, bathe them if necessary, take them on short walks or long hikes (if preferred), and overall just keep them company so they are comfortable and happy. I’ve been trusted in houses to petsit for years, and I will leave your space cleaner than when I found it. I want you to come home with no added stress, so the pet will be tired and the house will be more than clean, you’ll never know I was there!

Let me know if your dog has any specific or special needs I need to know about and if they have any behavior issues. If I’m doing extended care please tell me exactly how many hours a day is necessary because my work schedule changes weekly (I have dogs I regularly walk on weekdays). If I’m walking your dog, I prefer to know ahead of time if they are strong and pull a lot. Please also let me know if your dog is reactive in any way, just so I am aware during walks.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on hikes if they’re up for it, and my car is perfect for it (I have a crosstrek). Otherwise I’ll take them to different parks around town (sugarhouse park, Liberty park, etc.) and play fetch or just walk around the area. Typically, I wake up and walk the pet for about an hour and feed them, and then depending on my schedule I’ll hang out with them for the day after class and do my homework. When I’m watching your pet they are my top priority, they will get all the attention and comfort they need.

Availability
I’m a full-time student, but my classes are online and in person. I only have in person MWF 10:45-11:30 and T/Th 9:10-10:30. The rest of my time is self managed, so I can do my homework with your pet and be with them for extended hours. I can be with your pet all day if needed, and I am excited to be!
