I am not a dog owner, but I love dogs! So I cherish the time I get to spend with others' dogs. I'm a university advancement professional by day, but I have been house & animal sitting for over 10 years. As a fun, loving, and responsible person, I have been recruited by friends & acquaintances to take care of their dogs. I have a calm, friendly energy and get along well with both dogs and people. I do work outside of the home, so it's best if your dog is okay on his/her own for 7-8 hours during the week. My boyfriend, Byron, often assists with dogs I'm watching and is head of the fun department. I look forward to meeting your dog(s), enjoying time together and sharing with you what we're up to!

Rebecca is AMAZING! This was my first time using Rover and first time ever leaving Piper with a stranger. I was very nervous, especially after the original person I booked through Rover didn't show up to our initial meeting. Rebecca made time to meet Piper before I my vacation. We spent nearly an hour at the park with Piper and I never felt rushed while telling Rebecca about Piper and her care. Rebecca also bought 2 new toys (exact same) when Piper tore her toy apart. I offered to reimburse Rebecca, but she said not to worry about it. I think when I bought the original toy it was ~$15, so a total of $30+ her time. She sent multiple pictures every day, followed the instructions I provided her, was very responsive, and I was able to totally relax while I was on vacation which was unexpected. Piper clearly had a great time; she was excited to see me, and she had bonded with Rebecca too. I will always book with Rebecca.
Rebecca looked after both dogs for the night and took great care of them. We so appreciate it!

I live in a cozy apartment so smaller breeds are best, but I'm open to any breed, size, and sex. As I live in an apartment, a vocal dog might not be the best fit for me (and my neighbors!).
A typical day
I have many favorite walking/running routes in Capitol Hill, but I love heading to any park in Seattle with a view. I'm happy to visit a dog park that your dog enjoys, and I would welcome the chance to bring a dog friend with me on urban adventures--if your dog is comfortable and would enjoy it. And I love to cuddle and play, so I hope your dog enjoys that, too!
