Friendly & Productive Nursing Stude
Pet care experience
Friendly, patient, productive senior nursing student looking for ways to stay busy doing things I love and bring me joy. I am paying my way through nursing school however have plenty of time to care for my kitten Midnight, 9mo who just had her first liter of 3. She was previously a feral kitten outside and after a couple months of feeding her we seen her loyalty and timid personality amongst the larger cats. We also have two older cats Nosey 7y and Rosey 8y. Nosey joined the family first and took his time to feel out his surroundings, he seemed lonely and we adopted Rosey who quickly make her presence and place known. We then introduced them to Midnight and are in the process of acceptance. Growing up I also cared for a yellow Labrador which was apart of the family since he was 6mo until his 12th year. His name was Prince and he was energetic and lovable. We have yet been able to open up our homes to another dog due to previous living situations. However, a dog is now possible and maybe on the horizons ❤️ My greatest achievement in relations to animals was during my time as a house coordinator at a Organizations where those with and without disabilities lived daily lives with one another. During my time there (L’Arche CHICAGO) I advocated for the house and after various meetings and planning, figuring out responsibilities, together we followed the steps and achieved the ability to adopt out own dog. Through West Suburban Animal Shelter we met Allie, a 5 year old Beagle Mix. 😍
