Pet care experience
Hello! I am a 20 year old sitter living in Richmond Hill, GA. I can also take clients in Savannah, Midway, Pooler etc. I have general experience caring for dogs and cats, as well as many other exotic animals. I myself have a senior dog, two cats, two rats and two tarantulas. I have also owned birds, as well as cared for other rodents and aquatic pets. I’m very patient and I enjoy building a relationship with each individual animal I work with. I’m more than willing to work with more advanced care like administering medication, driving them to/from appointments and grooming, and more! I currently don’t board from home because of my senior dog. If you have more questions about myself or what I can provide for you, don’t hesitate to ask!

I used to dog-sit for another person for about a year and I loved it!! I wanted to branch out and try working for other businesses and I missed the dogs that I used to care for so much that I decided to come back and start my own business in which I walk, groom, and stay the night at dog’s houses to make my own income. I’m great at picking up dog waste, getting them daily exercise, and walking them twice/three times a day to ensure they get they get the care they need. I love to make the dogs/cats happy and meet their needs, I also have experience with ferrets, reptiles, and other small animals as I own two tarantulas myself. I’m great at following care guidelines/directions to ensure the care of pets!

When I work with your animals, I can ensure that I put all my attention towards them as well as respecting your home and belongings. I will feed them when instructed to do so, and make sure they always have water. I always make sure they walk/go outside soon after they eat to ensure no messes in the house. When I walk them, I keep them close and out of the road. I always bag their poop and discard in outside bins. I also make sure to send plenty of pictures/videos to keep you updated on them.

Please let me know if your dog/pet has any special needs, medication requirements, and allergies. I do not provide my own treats because I never know what a dog may be allergic to unless i’m directly told. I have a general knowledge of nearby emergency services, but I’d like to know what animal hospital is closest or preferred. I would also like to have a general idea of what i’m getting into so I can prepare if needed. I can easily care for older dogs, as well as more skiddish or aggressive dogs, but I appreciate transparency so that way I can cater to your specific needs.
A typical day
When an animal is under my care, I always try my best to make them happy and comfortable while their owner is away. Mental and Physical engagement/stimulation is crucial to me, especially so they don’t tear anything up or get bored and anxious. In a park or fenced-in yard, I will throw toys and balls for them, run around with them, and give them breaks when they get tired. If it is okay with you, I can bring them to parks to mingle with other dogs, as well as break up any altercations that may occur.

My schedule is very open at the moment. Normally, I do housesitting overnight for those who need it. I’m able to do drop-ins sunday-Tuesdays as I work 7-6 Wednesday through Saturdays.
