Dog lover with lots of experience

Pet care experience

I am currently working online from home indefinitely due to COVID--I am now accepting dogs for boarding 7 days a week and will be able to be with your dog most of the day. When you board with me your pet gets lots of love, walks, supervised playtime inside and outside, and photos! Unless you prefer less, I send several photos and videos a day which gives owners peace of mind. I love dogs and treat your dog as my own. I have a spacious home and a large completely fenced-in yard for dog play, as well as security cameras around the perimeter of the house. However dogs are never left alone outside. Weekdays: I worked a 9-5 job on weekdays only ONLINE from HOME during COVID, so a typical morning routine is up at 6:00am with the dogs, lots of cuddles, breakfast and a short walk, and then they may continue indoor play or a nap while I begin my work day. We take a break for lunch and might play outside more or do a short walk, then it's more indoor play, treats, or another nap while I resume work. When I finish working it's more playtime, supper, a longer walk, and another round of playtime before bed. Weekends: Things come alive! I am often home on the weekends, or if I go out I almost always do dog friendly activities in which I can take the dogs with me. A typical weekday might include an early easy hike if it's not too hot, a trip to the dog park if the owner permits, long and short walks a couple times a day, play time in the yard with toys and balls, projects around the house as the dogs watch, a dog event somewhere in LA if there is one that weekend like Woofstock (google that one!), and cuddle time with Netflix. I am not a person that likes to leave my dog or your dog at home for long hours, I like to include them in my life wherever I am! I do lots of dog sitting for friends and family in my home or their home and I've done fostering of orphan dogs through Ken-Mar Rescue in L.A. I've been on Rover several years now and have had many clients. Your dog gets five star treatment with me My dog Sea Gordon is a wonderfully happy and easy going mutt who is 50 pounds and loves to play nice with dog friends. If your dog is not into other dogs this may not be the best fit however I have sat for several dogs even small ones that prefer to hang with humans instead of Sea Gordon, and Sea Gordon is good about giving them their space once he gets the message they would rather not play. I have large dog gates to easily keep dogs separated in different areas of the house in the event personalities ever don't jive. So far so good with Sea Gordon!

Rebecca is a phenomenal sitter. She has been taking care of my fur baby since 2016, mostly for long weekend trips. I just took a 10 day trip (longest I’ve been away from my furry son) & I knew I’d trust Rebecca with him for a long period of time. During my travel to Ireland, she periodically sent photo/video updates. I could see how much fun my baby was having and it was such a relief since I was over 5,000 miles away. I also can’t thank her enough for being so patient with my son. He’s a rescue that has PTSD issues doesn’t do well with babies or children. Well, Rebecca not only took care of him but also provided a form of therapy when it comes to his issues with tiny humans. I was shocked to see how Skyler formed a relationship with her baby. I can’t rave enough about her. I selfishly hope she never moves away from the L.A. area because she’s the only other person (aside from my mom) that I trust with my baby. He means the world to me and to have found a sitter who goes above & beyond means a lot to me. Thank you Rebecca, Skyler loves you!

Rebecca went above all expectations while taking care of our Lab. She kept us up to date with daily photos and communication of how he was doing. Ryder came home in a good mood and tired from all of the play time with Rebecca's dog. Overall excellent experience.
