Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting for awhile now, and have a family I've been with for a year or two as well. I've always been an animal lover, but my cat doesn't like dogs, so I don't currently have one. It's so cool to be able to hang out with dogs and make money for school and living expenses at the same time. My main job is childcare, but my secondary job is dog sitting, and I'd love to pick up more work doing that. I'm also available to house sit and stay with your pets, but I do ask that you provide me access to your internet if I'm going to house sit over night because I like to be able to do my homework whenever I get the chance, and house/dog sitting would be the perfect opportunity to sit and do that.

Rebecca was great. Sent pictures of my dog at the dog park and stayed in communication with me. We ended up staying one day longer on our trip and she was able to take our dog again on such short notice! Totally will use her for the future!!

It's nice to know what kind of diet the dog eats. Some owners allow their dogs to eat table scraps and like to give extra treats, some owners don't allow their dog any table scraps, and some dogs just have a special diet, and it'd be nice to know this. Just like with children, it's nice to know if dogs have any allergies or diet restrictions, any sort of routine, etc.
A typical day
I can do whatever is needed of me. Each dog owner has a different set of rules about how they want their fur babies to be cared for, and I do my best to follow that. I'm not sure i'm comfortable taking dogs to the park because they're someone else's pets and if they managed to somehow run off, I'd feel bad. If you have a backyard, I'll play fetch with them, and I'm comfortable taking them on walks as well.
