I have experience of taking care of dogs since I was a baby, I grew up with a beautiful German shepherd called Max, and was taught the basics of dog care and safety from a young age! My family have always had cats and dogs at home, a house isn’t a home without a pet. From me being 12 I used to walk neighbours dogs for pocket money and went on to continue to do this into adult hood. Now I have my own home I can board pets here too. I also have a lot of experience with dogs with allergies and hyperactive dogs as i currently have a Boston terrier with those traits. I currently work part time, from home, so will always be around at home when taking care of your furry baby. They will never be left alone and will feel as though they are at their second home while in our care. I walk our own dogs twice daily in the local area and then visit local beaches, fields and forests on weekends. I have a secure, fenced garden with two other doggy’s to keep your fur baby company when staying with us. I am happy to adjust our routine to fit your baby’s so they don’t feel too much of an upheaval and to help them settle in while staying with us. I only ever take dogs off the lead if I feel fully confident about the dogs recall ability and in safe areas, if I don’t feel comfortable without a lead, i have extra long leads to ensure your baby still has the exercise they need. I believe in sniff walks as well, where the dog explores the world around them in their own time and take charge of the walk as well as playing and guided walks. I have a full, upto date DBS as I work with children’s services so can prove I am a trustworthy person.
