Hello, I’m Rebecca! I am a veterinary technician in Ho-Ho-Kus. I absolutely adore animals (especially cat & dogs!) and making sure their needs are met is something I am really passionate and care deeply about. I have always had dogs and cats in my house growing up, so I have a long history of experience in caregiving, especially since becoming a vet tech 4 years ago. I have experience with a broad range of breeds (cat/dog) so caring for any type of fur baby regardless of any special needs comes naturally to me. Due to my background, I am able to help with giving meds, baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, etc—just ask!

I was trying to find a babysitter back in August for a summer get away and I wouldn’t leave my dog with just anyone, I had found Rebecca and she was amazing!!!! I have never met someone so kind and sweet and who my dog will get along with because of her separation anxiety. The minute Rebecca met bellabean, they hit it off. Rebecca was very on top of keeping daily updates on Bella and Sending photos of my babygirl, I was excepting my dog to be off key because whenever we leave her she’s always very shaken but not with Rebecca! She was her normal yorkie self. I cannot wait to keep using Rebecca.. thank you again Rebecca for taking care of my babygirl
What a great decision to hire REBECCA to drop in to take care of my sister cats. She texted photos and a brief summary of the visit. This was very important because one of the cats needs medication daily and my mind was at ease knowing Rebecca was there.
Unbelievable person giving so much love to my dog would use her again in a heartbeat very responsible Sent a ton of pictures pictures
Annie and Ellie were well cared for and had a great time with Rebecca.

I have had experience with many breeds with all different types of needs. I am comfortable with giving medication if they need it. Let me know if there is anything that is off limits, or might cause anxiety for your little one! If you need anything else in addition, such as a nail trim or an ear cleaning, let me know and I’ll do my best
A typical day
A typical day might look like whatever your pet is accustomed to! I love to be active with the babies that are up for it, but I am totally down for snuggling all day as well for the cuddle bugs. I like to make sure they have enrichment periods, whether that is play time, chewing on a bone, just hanging outside or curling up together for a movie!

Availability
I am a full time vet tech, so I spend all day caring for animals! I also have my own dogs at home. During the week however if I am caring for your pet, no worries I am still able to pop in for lunch time visits during my shift to let them out or do anything else necessary.
