Patient and Confident Caregiver

Pet care experience

Hi I’m Becca. Stay at home dog and human mom, and former nanny of toddlers for many years. Our dogs are family members, and any visitors are treated the same! 🥰 I am a super patient and energetic person and focus on positive reinforcement with all humans and animals in my care.

Rebecca was an excellent sitter! Our dog Luna stayed with Rebecca and her family for 10 days and had a great time playing with their dogs. We got daily updates with photos which was so nice to see while away on vacation. We would definitely leave Luna with Rebecca again.

Rebecca and her family including her two dogs have become family to Boris too. We couldn’t be happier with Rebecca’s care, reliability, and communication. We truly lucked out! Thank you Rebecca and family!!

I hesitate to give Rebecca as positive of a review as she deserves because I don’t want her to be booked next time Loon needs a sitter! She’s fantastic with dogs, her fenced backyard gives them plenty of space to run, she seemingly entertains them endlessly & she is an incredible communicator. Like many pet owners, I struggle to trust my dog with anybody else. I know he’s in great hands with Rebecca. 11/10

We couldn't ask for a better sitter than Becca and her family, period!

Safety, trust & environment

I have two friendly large dogs, and our side yard is fenced in. The part of the yard that is unfenced also has a 100 ft dog run, we have an in ground pool that is separately fenced off as well, but usually set up a kiddie pool for the dogs to use freely on hot days. I have baby gates throughout the house, large crates, and a separate gated off play area for my toddler and baby. I take child/pet safety extremely seriously and never leave my children alone with a dog, only under supervision of an adult. **Boarding and daycare dogs must be up to date on state required vaccinations - Rabies, DHPP.***

Information Rebecca G. would like to know about your pet

I would need to know if your dog has any food sensitivities so I can make sure not to accidentally give them treats that may upset tummies. If your dog is not spayed/neutered, that is also important to know so that I don’t have opposite genders in-tact stay at the same time. (My dogs are spayed/neutered so not a concern generally.)

A typical day

We try to do a lot of outdoor time playing and hanging out in the yard. At least 3 interactive play sessions a day. We go for walks in our neighborhood sometimes, or hikes with boarding clients if approved by their paw-rents. If it is too hot or cold, we focus more on indoor activities. I utilize short training sessions and dog treat puzzles for good indoor entertainment if a pup has lots of energy. With the craziness of two human kids now we do a lot of just hanging out getting pets and snoozing.

Availability

I am a stay at home dog and human mom, so we have a lot of flexibility. We do have outings for activities, appointments, and errands at times - so for daycare clients I make sure to only be gone 1.5-2 hours maximum. With boarding clients, the maximum we would be gone would be 4 hours, but that’s only a few times a month if we have a dinner or an event.
