Animal Loving Veterinary Nurse!
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Rebecca and I am a certified animal lover. Currently, I am taking classes at NCC in order to receive my associates in veterinary technology. I’ve grown up with pets all my life, and I can’t imagine having a career that doesn’t involve animals! In addition to going to school, I also work at Greenwich Veterinary Center 2-3 days a week as a veterinary assistant. From being a veterinary assistant, I have learned many important skills about caring for furry friends. Some of these include administering medication, and keeping pets controlled in public environments. I also offer nail trims, baths, and anal gland expressions as additional services during any stay. If interested, don’t forget to mention it to me when booking with me! When I am not at GVC, my schedule is very flexible, which is why I love sitting for families throughout the Fairfield county area. Every pet I meet is special to me, and I treat them with the same amount of love and affection that I do with my own pets. If choosing me as a sitter, you will be sure to receive plenty of cute pictures and videos of your furry friend while you are away. My biggest goal as a sitter is to make you, the owner, as comfortable as possible while being away from your pet. Reach out to me, and let's plan your pet’s next stay today!
Reviews
Rebecca and her mom took great care of Finn! They have a terrific fenced-in backyard. He loved his time at their house. We’ll be using her again.
Dennis was well cared for, had lots of fun and Rebecca was attentive and communicative. Thanks for taking care of our little guy!
Rebecca was fantastic! Communication was great with daily updates and photos on Archer’s stay and activities with Luna and the crew! We had unforeseen travel delays and cancellations and thankfully she was flexible in extending his stay. Would highly recommend and Archer looks forward to his next staycation with Rebecca and Luna!
Amazing service, will definitely use again.

Information Rebecca G. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting for your pets, I love to plan meet and greets! Meet and greets are the easiest way to make sure you, your furry friend, and I are comfortable with the terms and needs of their stay. If a meet and greet doesn't work for you, a phone call before the stay can be just as effective. Communication is key! And P.S., all breeds are welcome in my pet care!
A typical day
There are many wonderful locations that I enjoy taking my own pets to, including the Stamford arboretum and Irwin park. Depending on a pets individual needs, I’ll choose a place that I think it fitting for their activity level! For a more active dog who likes to get all their energy out, a hiking trail is best suitable! For a smaller dog or one thats older, I have a beautiful backyard for running, playing fetch, or just bathing in the sun with furry friends.
