Pet care experience
I have been a mama to dogs and cats (as well as fish, turtles, hamsters, rabbits, gerbils and guinea pigs) over the course of my life, and have been a professional pet sitter for 15 years. Previously my daughters and I boarded dogs at our home in Atlanta GA while I was working toward a masters in occupational therapy. There were times when we had multiple dogs at our home at one time, and we were always able to create a safe and loving space for each animal. I am also a member of Trusted House Sitters and have continued to pet sit for friends and neighbors over the years. I am in the process of moving to N.C. and looking to continue pet sitting in your home. I will treat your pet as if they were my own: With great care, attention and love, as I know how important your pet is to you. Thank you for allowing me to care for your animal(s)! Why I love pet sitting I've loved having pets (especially dogs!) my whole life. Other than during my transitory years as a young adult, I've always had at least one pet. My experience administering medication Yes. I am quite good at giving medications to dogs, as well as flea treatments to cats. In addition to administering medications to a few of the dogs while pet sitting, my dog Max recently passed away, and I provided daily palliative care to ensure he was out of pain, was able to eat, and had quality of life until the very end.

So you’re looking for a pet sitter? Contact Rebecca F, and never look back. Becca has been our dog sitter/walker for many years, at least 10. As our dogs aged, both were on meds, and she faithfully kept them safe and up to speed on meds and diet. She mentioned it, so I’ll just say she’s a softie. One of our dogs insisted on sleeping with her, and our Freckles found Becca is a good snuggler! It’s no exaggeration to say that Becca (as well as her daughters when they were home) is the very best dog sitter we’ve ever had over many years and more than a few canine pals. You’ll never find better, so look no further.
We got to know Becca Fiscal--a true animal lover!--when she was so kindly serving as the foster mom for a dog we adopted in the spring of 2023. Becca welcomed our dog, Gus, into her home, where he lived for multiple weeks with her dogs. When we adopted Gus (a two-year-old beagle at the time), he was happy and secure despite having been abandoned and found wandering alone. It was very clear that Becca had welcomed Gus into her family's home and treated with love and affection. He was and is a happy and friendly dog. On behalf of my family, I'm delighted to endorse Becca as a pet caregiver. I'm certain she'll bring the same care, attention, and love to her work with her clients' pets as she did for us. Becca’s love of dogs and all sentient beings is evident in her actions. I have been her friend and neighbor for many years and have watched her care for her children, neighbors, pets and friends. Walks during regular scheduled times. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: I can make arrangements for your pet to sleep wherever he/she is most comfortable. Please let me know your preference. I will spend a minimum of whatever time you need me to be with your pet, plus all the extra time I'll be around the house.

Currently my life is very flexible. As a recent resident of North Carolina, I'm spending my days looking for work as well as purchasing land where I plan to develop a farm/therapeutic retreat center.
