I am committed to providing you with full peace of mind for those times you can’t be home with your furry babe. I pride myself on taking the best care of both human and canine clients. My goal is to make sure your dogs enjoy great days that include exercise and loving companionship. To help ensure peace of mind, I will send you real time pictures and videos of your dog while walking or dog sitting. I care for big and small dogs. I have a fenced yard where your dog can run, play ball, use the potty when needed, or even just people watch! I have a dog park within walking distance where dogs can play with other dogs. Please be honest and specific about your dogs needs. Every fur babe is different with its own personality and I want to meet your dogs needs. I have had pets my whole life. I grew up in a family of dog lovers and dog trainers. I’ve learned a some things from watching my father train hunting dogs. You can definitely teach an old dog new tricks! When not wearing out dogs, I can be found doing yoga, reading, and snuggling with my fur baby. Rebecca (and her husband) are EXCELLENT dog sitters. Rebecca grew up with dogs and she has a deep love for pups that is just so evident to all. Personally, I have a rowdy puppy (Josie) that I am normally worried to leave with others who don't know how to gently discipline or how to keep her engaged so that she doesn't get into stuff. However, while in Rebecca's care, Josie rarely acts up. Rebecca is assertive and gentle, and SO awesome at keeping a pup active and entertained. Rebecca knows all the tricks and makes pups feel right at home, doggies just flock to her! We always receive super fun photos and videos of Josie when Josie stays with Rebecca, which makes traveling without worry so much better. She's the best! Highly recommend.
Rebecca watched my dog over Christmas and she did a phenomenal job. She sent many pictures, videos, and updates letting me know how my fur baby was. My dog had the best time with her! He was so tired from all of the playing! I will definitely be using Rebecca again, especially after seeing how happy my dog was while we were gone! If you want your fur baby loved on, cared for, played with, and spoiled, you will most definitely want to use Rebecca’s services!
Rebecca did a great job watching Abby, my 2.5yr old 85lbs Chesapeake Bay Retriever, during a weekend. She ensured she was walked, got some play time, and kept Abby on her normal schedule. Her experience over the years definitely show and allow her to handle larger dogs with ease. I would recommend and use her again.
Rebecca has as sweet and caring disposition that dogs are attracted to whether at the animal shelter, the dog park or in your home. She is responsible, gracious, and very caring. I would like to about your dogs personality. Is your dog potty trained and how does it communicate it needs to go outside? What gets your dog excited or anxious? What training cues does your dog know (sit, stay, wait or come)? Does your dog have any cues for when it needs something (my dog licks her lips when she’s hungry)? Does your dog take any medicine? Is your dog ever aggressive (ex: around food or when people knock)? Are there certain things your dog doesn’t like (ex: people yelling/too much excitement)? I understand each dog is different, help me understand your fur baby so I can provide the best possible care!
A typical day
I enjoy walking dogs in places they’re familiar such as their own neighborhood or a local park. When staying with me, there is a wonderful trail that goes around a pond which I enjoy walking on. My apartment has a yard where dogs can run, chase balls, or people watch! When inside, I will enforce any training rules you have for your dog. If you don’t have specific training rules, we also enjoy running and playing ball and tug or war inside!
