Hi folks! I'm a young professional who's looking to take care of your dog(s) and/or house while you get some R&R. I generally sit in Seattle because although I'm living with my parents out in Woodinville for financial reasons right now, I've recently started an amazing full-time job downtown. This means a few great things for you: 1. I am always excited to stay with your furry, feathery, or fishy friends! Any shortening of my nightmare commute is great, and (as I'm sure you can understand) it's always nice to get a little bit of a break from the family! 2. I have total flexibility with dates, and I can take jobs on very short notice. Because I don't have my own place to worry about, I don't have to find someone to water my plants while I'm gone - I can just leave my house and adorable dog-niece to my parents and focus on yours! I would be able to be in your house all day on the weekend, and Monday-Friday I would be able to check in on your pooch at my lunch break from my 8-5 job (dependent on distance) as well as morning and evening walks. 3. I'm very familiar with the area, and have experience with a variety of situations, from houses to apartments to farms. I also have access to a car, but I'm familiar with bus routes and other public transit in the area, so if you have no parking, it's no problem! All this is to say that I would be a great choice as you're looking for someone to take care of your dog (and/or other pets!) while you're away. I have rather a lot of experience with pet- and house-sitting. I've worked with both small and large dogs in a variety of housing environments (as well as cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and fish). I'm also a live-in pet aunt to my brother's adorable little Bichon mix, Posey. I'd love to discuss your needs and what I can do to meet them! Other things about me: I'm 24 years old and work at a law firm in downtown Seattle; I'm fanatic about Seattle sports (particularly the Mariners and Seahawks) as well as English rugby; I also enjoy board games, theatre (both making and watching), cooking, and spending time with my wonderful boyfriend (even though he's a cat person). Rebecca was so great with our pets. We received many texts and photos. We came home to happy, healthy geriatric pets. Rebecca was amazing in our pets care and communication. However, most of the pics showed our pets with her boyfriend. These pictures were ok with me but am unsure if all know he might be staying the night (pictures included him in our bed with pets). We also came home to minor damage to our home, only one was reported to us, the shore. Shower head was broken off (reported), plastic melted on burner and closet doors not only off track but tracks bent and in need of replacing. We also found two personal items of wear in odd places not normally found. I loved her care, but won't ask her back. It was the personal wear items in odd places that most surely involved her boyfriend that broke the deal for us.
Rebecca was great! Annie (my yorkie) seemed to get along with her right away. Rebecca sent me pics everyday of them cuddling on the couch or the bed. Annie seemed well-loved and taken care of while I was gone. Rebecca gave Annie Benadryl everyday for her allergies and even bought more when I ran out! I asked Becca to stay at my place to watch Annie and she kept very good care of my place. I highly recommend Rebecca and will definitely book her again! Annie and I are both very happy.
Rebecca was the best sitter I could have hoped for. She did exactly as I asked (and then some)! She gave me daily updates, took care of my animals when the fire alarm went off unexpectedly, and left my apartment in perfect condition. Will definitely be using her again for future house sittings!

I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! My family tends to own smaller dogs (I live with a Bichon mix at the moment), but I've had wonderful times with all sorts of furry friends from Havaneses to Heelers to Newfs!
A typical day
I'm a huge fan of exploring new areas, so your dog and I would have a great time walking to and around local parks! I also love fetch - my brother's dog Posey is unfortunately both too old and not intelligent enough to really take full advantage of my fetch-playing prowess, so I would love to bond in that way with your dog :)
