Pet care experience
I work as a dog trainer a local animal shelter and looking to make a little extra money and expand my client base through taking care of other people's furry friends. I grew up with animals in my house and currently have several animals of my own including cats, horses, rats, a dog, and several fish. I have also gained a lot of experience volunteering at animal shelters and working at vet clinics where I performed tasks including giving medications (oral and injected) to dogs and cats. I have ridden horses for most of my life and have a lot of experience caring for them in addition to fish, birds, and rodents and would be comfortable watching any of them. I am an animal care employee with a passion for all animals and lots of love to give to our furry friends that I look forward to sharing with yours!

Rebecca is such a sweet young woman. She has excellent communication and promptly replied to our messages about our pups while we were away. We have two large dogs that sleep in bed with us and she accommodated is letting them sleeping with her while we were gone. We will absolutely use her again.
Rebecca is a true animal lover of all creatures and has experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish and even horses! I trust her completely to care for my pets or my neighbors pets

I also have a private room where your kitty or other animals could stay comfortably when they are here. At your home, I'm happy to share my space with your animals in whatever ways you allow, be it the sofa, the bed, or simply coexisting across a room!

A high energy dog who needs hours of exercise a day will likely not be the best fit for me due to my work schedule. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds and am happy to accommodate an array of various needs.
A typical day
I love creating enrichment to keep a dog's mind engaged, from puzzle treat boxes to scent work! I'm happy to play fetch with your dog in your backyard or take them on a long walk or even hike. I have another dog that would love to play with boarding clients, or they can have their own spaces if your dog is not a fan.

Availability
I currently work full time so unfortunately I probably wouldn't be the best fit for an animal that's used to someone being home all day. But I am used to having my hands full before/after work and have a long enough lunch break that I can also drop by in the middle of the day to let a dog out for a few minutes as needed!
