Pet care experience
I've lived with dogs for my entire 23 years of existence, and I treat them like family. Under my care, your pet will receive more than enough attention and care. Because I am unable to have dogs with me permanently at my new apartment, I would love to spend my free time helping you take care of yours. During college, I spent four years volunteering at Wish Bone Canine Rescue in Bloomington, IL, where I walked dogs alone and in groups, groomed, and assisted in daily canine necessities as well as assisting in adoption events. Personally, I grew up in a home with multiple dogs. I was responsible for walking and tending to my own dogs, and have a lifetime of experience behind me with many different breeds with varying personalities. Animals are truly my passion, and I treat every dog I come across with the utmost kindness. I currently work around 30 hours per week and am interested in filling up around 10-15 more with pet-sitting and walking. Hiring me would actually be doing me a favor, as I hardly find that looking after pets is anything close to 'work'. I genuinely love being around dogs, and allowing me to hang out with yours would be the best way I could possibly think of to spend my free time.

Gray personality on time. And Gizmo was happy with his walk. Thx Rebecca
Rebecca has always been so sweet to my baby Gia and her dogs Swoosh and Ellie. There has been countless times where I have asked her to hang out and she didn't hang out with me because she felt sad leaving her pets home alone all night. Usually I would give in and we would have a girls night in (feat. Swoosh). Rebecca is so kind and selfless and she would do anything for anyone. Leaving your dog in her hands would give your dog the time of their life because they'd not only get a nice relaxing walk in, but plenty of soft pets, yummy treats, and gentle hugs.
Rebecca is one of the most gentle and loving people I know. She has always had a HUGE love for animals, (especially dogs) and I am so glad she could have the opportunity to walk them in her free time! I know it would make her very happy and give her a chance to be around pups while she explores her knew home in St. Louis and begins a new journey in her life.
Rebecca, a friend I volunteered at a dog shelter with, is always my go to when it comes to my dogs. Not only is she caring, friendly, and gentle with my dogs, they immediately warmed up to her the moment they met. She can always be relied upon to give every animal the love and care they need.

Information Rebecca D. would like to know about your pet
I would preferably like to know the dog's personality before meeting him or her so that when we are together they feel as comfortable as possible with me and have fun during our time together. I will base our walks/activities on what your dog likes to do!
A typical day
If your dog feels comfortable around other dogs, I would be happy to take them in areas where they can socialize with people and other animals (such as dog parks, or more populated and bustling neighborhoods). If they are more reserved, I would find quieter and less trafficked parks and neighborhoods where we could walk and your pet could feel safe and unbothered. I love exploring the city and know the perfect spots for both types of activity. Permitting that your dog is okay with car rides, I find Forest Park and the Central West End some of the best places in town to walk and hang out.
