Hello World! My name is Becca and am a San Diego native who has been exploring this world with my two dogs/best friends, Stella and Tikka. Sadly, Tikka is no longer w us but we will always remind the world of how much love she gave us + how much we love her❤️ We are very friendly, active and have lots of love to give. In my home I believe in treating our guests as family, so that means all furry friends and humans are treated with the same love, kindness and respect as the next 🌈.Our home is small and comfy but we have a large yard for any size dog to play around in. I do work my other job from 2pm-6:30pm during the week but am open to care for our furry friends either before or after those times (even during my work time if you feel comfortable). When I am off I usually like to go on hikes or walks in canyons, beaches or parks. I have expansive experience with animals: dogs w special-needs, I cared for a Dalmatian who would have seizures and was very hyperactive, and Tikka became blind as she aged; working with any size animal (minituare chihuahua to Great Dane) I also have experience administering insulin to pets who have diabetes. I am flexible, so if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate and feel free to reach out.

Rebecca maintained open and prompt communication through out the entire day, providing photos and updates to reassure us that our baby was in good hands. She’s great!

In our home, dogs and cats alike have the opportunity to venture between the house and the patio or back yard freely (so long as you are okay w that). The backyard is completely fenced in and double-gated. There is also fresh water dispersed around the property, along with plenty of toys and chews to play with. There is also a patio area so your furry friend can get some shade, if needed. Every animal is different with its own unique temperament . What I enjoy doing is creating a comfy, secure, calm, and fun environment for each and every one animal I get the opportunity to meet and care for.

I have no preference of breed, I solely want to know if your furry friend has any behavioral or medical issues so I can prepare accordingly.
A typical day
Something you can rely on is I like to go on daily adventures w the animals I care for. It can be expected that your pet and I will go out to either canyons, trails, parks, and or beaches around San Diego. We will go hiking, running or walking. Some of our favorite spots are Ocean Beach Dog Beach, Dusty Rhoades Park (lots of grass!), Balboa Park, Morley Field and any cool trail we can find! For older or more mellow-tempered friends, I get it, life needs to be lived at a slower pace at times. I’m more than happy to accommodate a safe, calm environment for these kinds of friends as well.

Availability
Pet care is a way of life for me. I care for Stella 24/7 but when we have company, I like to get up around 6:30/7 am and spend the morning exploring San Diego. Once 1:30pm comes, I get ready for work. I am very fortunate because I have a job where I can bring my pet (including yours if you’d like) along. Otherwise, after I am off I have another 3 hours available to either care of walk your furry family before I go to bed.
