Leave Your Paws in Good Hands

Pet care experience

Hi there! I'm Beck, an avid dog & cat lover :) From a young age, I’ve been surrounded by companionship of my family’s dogs. Throughout my time at university, I additionally adopted and raised two loving kittens. Outside of my own pets, I've had the privilege of caring for a diverse range of canine and feline companions with my past and ongoing pet-sitting jobs. I take pride in providing a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for any four-legged client that needs one. For me, caring for pets is not just a job; it's a genuine labor of love. I strive to deliver the highest standard of care during each pet-sitting / walking session. With my experience, passion, and commitment, your dogs and cats will be in the most capable and loving hands possible.

If you need someone to take the best care of your pets and your house, Rebecca is the one!! She has great communication, although I booked her last minute she was able to make it! She sends lots of pictures and really makes sure your pets is having fun and isn’t missing you too much. I’m pretty sure my cats didn’t even care when I was back as they had so much fun with her. She made sure my place was tidy before leaving and did laundry. I will rebook Rebecca for futur trips for sure!

Rebecca was awesome! She came over to our house to do daily check-in’s on our 2 cats while we were away on holidays. From the start, she was very accommodating, and took the time to come do an initial meet and great with our cats. Rebecca sent photos daily, as well as updates. She spent lots of time cuddling with our one cat who is very friendly! When we got back home, Rebecca had even taken the garbage out and our cats were happily and cuddly. We will definitely be using her again!!

I am willing to care for pets in any client's home! Though I would love to host pets in my own home, I must prioritize the comfort of my four-legged clients and that of my family dog, Rollo. Rollo is extremely friendly with other dogs and I believe he would love to have a feline friend. That said, he tends to get a bit too excited to meet new friends and I would not like to risk this energy scaring any of your fur babies.

A typical day

As a dedicated and experienced dog sitter, my top priority is to provide a day filled with joy, comfort, and exceptional care for your furry friend. Here's a glimpse into what a typical day of high-quality dog sitting would look like: Morning: The day begins with a warm and enthusiastic greeting as I arrive at your home. I understand the importance of maintaining your dog's regular routine, so I start by feeding them their favorite breakfast, ensuring their dietary needs are met. I carefully follow any specific instructions regarding portion sizes, dietary restrictions, or medication administration. After breakfast, it's time for a refreshing walk or energizing play session. I believe in the power of exercise and mental stimulation to keep dogs happy and healthy. Whether it's exploring nearby parks, playing fetch, or engaging in interactive games, I tailor the activities to your dog's breed, age, and energy level. Midday: During the midday hours, I ensure your dog receives ample attention and companionship. I know that dogs are social creatures and thrive on human interaction. Whether it's cuddling on the couch, gentle brushing to keep their coat lustrous, or engaging them in mentally stimulating activities, I provide the love and attention they need throughout the day. I also make sure to monitor their water intake, keeping their water bowl fresh and refilled at all times. Hydration is crucial for their well-being, especially during active play sessions or warmer days. Afternoon: After a satisfying meal, it's time for another invigorating walk or engaging playtime. Dogs thrive on routine and consistency, so I make sure to maintain their regular schedule, providing structure and stability to their day. In addition to physical exercise, I understand the importance of mental stimulation for dogs. I incorporate puzzle toys, interactive games, or basic training exercises to keep their minds sharp and entertained. This not only enriches their experience but also helps strengthen the bond we share. Evening: As the day winds down, I focus on creating a calm and cozy atmosphere for your dog's relaxation. I provide a safe and comfortable space, ensuring they have access to their favorite toys, cozy bedding, and a secure environment. Dinnertime is served according to their feeding schedule, maintaining consistency with their home routine. Afterward, a peaceful evening walk or gentle play session helps burn off any remaining energy before bedtime. Before leaving for the day, I make sure to check in on your dog one last time, providing ample affection, reassurance, and a final bathroom break. I also ensure that your home is secure and tidy, leaving no trace behind except for the happy memories shared with your beloved companion.
