Hi; My name is Rebecca! I’ve had pets since I was born and have always been surrounded by animals. I’ve had cats, dogs, a rabbit, turtles, and fish. I often help out my family and friends when they need a pet sitter or someone to watch over their fur children. I love going on walks, playing with pets, or just spending time with them. I have a corgi of my own and have had several roommates with cats. I am here as a responsible pet lover who can help out by dog walking, checking in, or spending time with your animals! It’s important to make sure pets feel loved and safe. I also love taking pictures of your pets and sharing them with you! I can provider services in your home or as a dog-walker, going to nearby parks or around the neighborhood. I understand the importance of daily playtime and socialization, and how important it is to make this time enjoyable for your pets!

Rebecca has watched my dogs several times over the years. She always does a really good job and my dogs are super happy when she’s here. I definitely feel comfortable letting her walk, watch, and keep my dogs over night. I have 2 large black labs that she’s watched, and she’s watched my previous dogs too. She follows the directions I leave and cleans up after them!
For as long as I've known Rebecca she's been surrounded by animals, I can't think of another person who's as proud of a pet owner as she is. Or someone as empathetic and caring of animals as she is.

When walking a dogs, I always take care to survey our surroundings and walk in engaging and safe areas. I love giving attention (when they want it!) and make sure to read body language as well. As a pet owner myself, I take pet safety super seriously and always check to make sure there’s nothing dangerous anywhere near fur babies. Additionally, I meet your pets in your home first so they feel safe in their own environment. We will have a meet and greet before our first visit to get acquainted and familiar with each other.

Please let me know ahead of time any special behaviors your pet may have, especially for their safety. I am comfortable with all dog breeds.
A typical day
I love making sure dogs are happy both physically and mentally. I also think it’s important to learn what kind of “walker” each dog is. My dog, Schatzi, prefers to do a lot of sniffing — it’s important to find out what your dog wants out of their time outside! I also love to play chase, fetch, and tug-a-war.

I currently work from home and my schedule lets me be very flexible with my time. I have a very regimented routine and plan ahead. That way I’ll always know in advance what I am doing / available for!
