I have been rescuing dogs for over 10 years, with 3 successful forever homes found and two whom I couldn’t let go. Up until last fall we had 5 fur babies, and sadly lost two elders to cancer at the very end of 2019. We have a very open floor plan on the main floor that they have the run of and their own bedroom to take naps and sleep and play in. I have several crates on hand if your dog needs a space of their own at night or they can sleep in the dogs’ room or in our room with our own little pack. I do work full time during the week about 30 minutes away. I am gone from 7:15 until 4:30. I have a video camera set up in the dogs room so I can check in on them from time to time. While COVID is here my 18 year old daughter is home during the day doing virtual school so she is available for lunchtime potty breaks. We don’t have a fenced in backyard. But we do play out there with them a lot. We will keep your dog on a long leash so he/she can run around. I take a 4 mile walk in the mornings and can take your dog with me or for shorter intervals in the evenings as needed. I have 3 dogs, a 16 year old blind male chihuahua, a 12 year old female Yorkie, and a 6 year old male basset hound mix. All are fixed and friendly and are used to accepting new friends quickly as I often take care of friends and colleagues dogs.
