I've been caring for animals since I was in 6th grade when I'd regularly animal sit for one of my neighbor's Bernese Mountain Dog, 3 cats, and 2 bunnies. Since then, I've become an apprentice service dog trainer and can deal with a wide variety of issues in pet dogs as well as specialized training. I'm working on becoming an AKC evaluator and I love what I do. I take special care and pride in the animals I care for. I believe that a well exercised pet is going to be an easier companion and leads to a much happier family life. I already regularly go on walks with neighbors who're friends and assist in training. This will extend into my Rover business. During our walks together, your fluffy friend and I will not only exercise their bodies, but will exercise their brains as well as I bring along high quality low calorie treats (or you can supply your own) and work on some training as we walk. This will include things like loose leash walking, distraction training, and more. Mental stimulation will tire your dog out faster than physical stimulation so this exciting mixture will leave you with a very happy pup! Of course, if you prefer no training, I'm happy to go along with what you prefer! For now, I'll only be accepting dog walking clients. Then, as we build our relationship, I'll be open to extending my services into dog and/or other animal sitting. I do this because I like to build my comfort level within a household before I enter anyone's house and I want you to get to know me beforehand as well! Lastly, I try my best to create the best relationship with the animals I care for. This means I want your furry friend to love me as much as I love them. I prefer to meet your pet and at least one owner of your animal before continuing into a service. After all, how would you feel if the first time you met someone, you were getting taken away from your family?
