For the Love of Dogs
Pet care experience
Growing up, my family had different types of dogs from large Poodles and medium-size Terriers to smaller dogs like West Highland White Terrier. As an adult, we had a Cocker Spaniel mix who was with us for 13 years & now Boxer/Beagle mix. This has given me the experience to engage and learn about different breeds and personalities. In addition, I have experience caring for other types of animals including cats, fish, birds, chickens, Hamsters, and even squirrels. I have enjoyed pet-sitting for many years and have been around and love all types of animals. Looking to using my experience and love of animals to work with them and help others with their furry pet needs.

I try to keep the schedule the animals are used to while I am caring for them, if left their information. It makes it easier while You (the owners) are away. Of course, they know the difference but keeping to their routine usually helps things go smoothly and lessens any anxiety.

I like to meet the dogs (pets) with the owners present, get a feel for their personality. I have a dog and most dogs smell him on me. Do they get along with other dogs and people. What can I expect when we run into other dogs or people walking around? Is there a particular place they like to go and explore or places not to go.
A typical day
I love to walk around the area and explore. The dogs like to 'show me' where they normally go or favorite spot. If there are walking trails or even just around the block. Not all dogs like to play fetch or run around so I let them tell me what they want to do. Get out and explore or snuggle on the couch!

I work PT outside the home, but I do have the time, to take care of your furry pet. I am more than happy to get out and explore with your furry friend showing me a favorite spot.
