I understand how challenging it can be to ensure your dog gets enough exercise and attention when they have an aversion to group play. I specialize in walking and caring for dog-reactive dogs. I follow the positive-reinforcement tenets of Sophia Yin, Ian Dunbar, and Patricia McConnell. For those dogs who are unable to walk on a leash or in a neighborhood, I would be happy to exercise your dog at home. I am comfortable using muzzles, gentle leaders, and harnesses with multiple attachment points. I will not walk your dog if you use choke or e-collars, as I believe that these devices cause confusion and stress, which is a barrier to healthy learning. I do not work with dogs who have a history of biting or attacking people- this is beyond my level of experience and I would recommend working with the folks at Ahimsa Dog Training.
