I'm a pet person without a pet! Deeply deprived of the very important dog and cat vitamins, I'm eager to make new fuzzy friends so my poor houseplants can find peace. I have always grown up around small animals, and recently I have spent a lot of time caring for human children. As a babysitter, I often enter new households with dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities. I am always able to create a safe environment where all creatures feel comfortable. I have a special talent for putting pets (especially cats) at ease with a combination of expert petting skills and a soothing tone of voice. Loner cat? Nervous dog? I can win them over. I can read body language, be patient, move slow, hold space, and just generally listen to all concerns expressed before dosing out the loves and receiving tail wags and purrs.
