Pet care experience
I work from home remotely so I have a lot of flexibility. I was an Animal Science major in college and have over a year experience working as a Vet Tech at a fast paced animal hospital. I love animals with my whole heart. I have experience with many different breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs. I also have experience with cats of all temperaments. I have some experience with small animals such as rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs. I can administer oral, topical and injectable medications as well as subcutaneous fluids and check BG. I am comfortable caring for pets with medical conditions and behavioral issues. My experience working at an animal hospital allows me to respond quickly and take the initial treatment steps needed in case of an emergency. I have had dogs and cats throughout my whole life so I have a lot of experience with taking care of them as well as endless love to give. I am a very active person so your pets would get a lot of attention, love, walks, playtime, etc.

Rebecca was great at responding and watching Loki last minute. She made sure Loki felt comfortable while I was away for the night. She handled his hyper self amazingly and would definitely recommend for dog sitting.
I have had the good fortune to have Rebecca care for my dog Bo when I have been away from home. She loves animals and genuinely cares for them. She is responsible and makes sure Bo is happy, safe and has fun. It gives me piece of mind knowing Rebecca is taking care of Bo when I cannot.
Rebecca is a great pet sitter and dog walker, she is trustworthy and dependable and truly loves animals of all kinds!! When we are going to be gone for long periods of time or out of town, she is the first person I will call to take care of my labs!!

I am comfortable walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I understand the importance of tending to dogs who are reactive.

It is important to know if they have any medical or behavioral issues. If they are reactive to other dogs or people. If they enjoy being near other dogs or people for my safety and your pets safety. If they have dietary restrictions and how frequent they need to be fed. If they take any supplements or need their food to be given in a slow feeder or pre-soaked. How far they like to walk and if there are any restraints on the distance they can walk. What their favorite toys are and if there are things I can do to comfort them please let me know.
A typical day
I really enjoy walking in the Boston Common/ Public Garden. I typically walk 3-5 miles a day so I am able to be flexible with the distance your dog needs based on age, size and medical conditions. Enrichment is really important for a dogs well being. I would plan to spend 5-10 minutes (or longer) doing enrichment activities while I care for your pup.
