I like people but I love dogs
Pet care experience
I've been a dog lover my whole life: I grew up with them (2 labs and 3 dachshunds over 20 years), helped to foster 3 pit bulls after college, lived with the third (a failed foster) for several years, and currently live with a tiny guy who is timid but not super interested in other dogs. I have made walking, sitting, and boarding dogs a part of my life as an adult. No matter what your dog is like, I am going to have a blast taking care of them. I love learning their quirks, how they like to play, taking long walks with a pup by my side, and cuddling (assuming they like that!). I work from home as well so I'm able to provide them with care and attention all day, which is great for both of us.

Rebecca is an incredible friend to dogs, a wonderful caregiver, and extremely attentive and flexible to the needs of each new dog she encounters. Pups always have a blast when she's around. 10/10 would trust Rebecca with my pup again any time.

I have no breed preferences - I love all dogs without exception. I would like to know the basics: what kind of schedule are they used to, do they like to sleep on their own or with someone, how are they with other dogs/animals, any allergies, and do they have any particular behaviors that should be discouraged?
A typical day
I live in a great neighborhood for walks (plenty of sidewalks!) and am smack dab between two dog parks (one fenced and one unfenced). If your dog likes other dogs, I'll also make a point to get together with friends of mine who have playful and dog-loving dogs to mix things up. We also have a small fenced-in yard that we can run around in. I'm happy to play or cuddle as the dog prefers.
