Pet care experience
As a current university student my whippet Charlie is sadly back at home without me so all my love, care and time for dogs has no where to go! I trained my whippet from puppy age so have experience with training and caring for puppies. I have also previously lived with and cared for rescue dogs such as a lurcher so have experience with dogs which may have additional needs including separation anxiety and social anxiety. I have experience looking after multiple different breeds such as dachshunds, rack russels and sighthound breeds.

Rebecca has a special way with dogs. I think it’s because she is not too loud or over bearing as a human in the eyes of a dog. And she seems to bring out the fun in dogs. The great thing is the obvious pleasure she gets from hanging out with our dog - that seals the deal in my eyes.

As i live in a flat with no garden i am best suited to care for dogs in my home that are of smaller breeds. However, i do live 5minutes away from Kelvingrove park so providing your dog with plenty of outside exercise time will be no obstacle. My close proximity to the park makes me the ideal dog walker and i am confident and experienced in walking larger and stronger dogs.

Availability
As a university student with the majority of my lectures online I am very flexible and have lots of free time to spend with pups. My only days on campus are Wednesday and Friday but i would still be available on the evenings of these days. I especially love going on walks so daily walks with a dog would fit seamlessly into my weekly routine.
